When two copies of the same title look alike, the limitation page, dust jacket, or slipcase can tell you which edition you’re looking at. Here’s how to check those details before ordering from Minos Book.
Are the photographs of the copy I’ll receive?
Yes, all listings are as shown. Start with the photographs and condition notes in the listing. If a particular detail matters to you, such as a rubbed slipcase corner, the condition beneath a dust jacket, or an exact copy number, contact us with the title and the detail you want to confirm before ordering. For a factory-sealed book, some details inside the binding may be unavailable.
How do I verify the edition, copy number, or signature?
Look for the publisher’s name and the limitation page, where the publisher records the print run and may identify the individual copy by letter or number. Check who signed and where. An artist’s signature, an author’s signature on the limitation page, and a signed bookplate are different features. If the listing leaves that unclear, ask for confirmation or a photograph of the relevant page.
What does “matching” mean for a set?
Matching volumes carry the same limitation number or letter. Read the listing volume by volume, especially when a set includes an anthology or companion book. If the ability to buy a future volume with the same number matters to you, check whether the listing specifically includes those rights.
When will my order ship, and can I track it?
We aim to dispatch in-stock books within two business days. Carrier transit time starts after dispatch. Checkout shows the services and prices available for your address.
